Jitka Vachtová

I work as a private trainer. I myself devote myself to swimming in racing and fitness form. I am currently participating in long-distance races. I enjoy swimming and light healthy cold water swimming. I swim mainly for pleasure from movement, for health and relaxation.

I commercially offer private adult swimming lessons for adults. My training can be visited by the public and racing swimmers. Swimming is mostly in the morning times. In the afternoon I teach English and mathematics. In the evening I have my own trainings. In addition, I devote myself to programming my own web projects and publishing activities.

Swimming coach III. class,

In 2015 I attended a swimming coach course III. classes organized by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of the Charles University in Prague. The scope and content of the course is fully accepted by the Czech Swimming Championships (ČSPS) qualification rules.

The swimming trainer, lifeguard and paramedic

In 2013 I graduated from an accredited course of swimming instructor and lifeguard by Mr. Miroslav Matuška, covered by the Association of Swimming Schools of the Czech Republic. Certificates accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports authorize me to work in this area. I can teach and practice swimming for children from 4 years of age (including) above, for teenagers and adults, both in the pool and open water. The lifeguard license, which is only valid for two years, is continually renewing.

Long-distance and winter swimming

I. PKO Prague

Since 2012, I have been a member of the First Swimmer Club Prague (I. PKO Prague). In this sports club I. PKO Prague we swim in Vltava during all year. In the summer, I take part in long-distance races, where I swim distances from 1 km, 3 km to 5 km. Long-distance swimming takes place on open water in the countryside in Czech ponds. At the Czech Republic Lipno 2012 Championship I took the third place in my category. Sometimes I take part in winter swim competitions.

If you are interested in swimming in the Vltava River, club I. PKO accepts members all year round. Previous swimming career is not a prerequisite, however, you need to swim quite well so that you will not drown in the Vltava. You can get to the community of excellent, good and pleasure swimmers and participate in swimming races :-). Cold water swimming is healthy and increases immunity. It will give you good mood and energy for the day. Most swimming pools are focused only on young people. The members of the club I. PKO Prague can be registered at any age, there are youth from 14 years of age and adult swimmers. I recommend.

Swimming in a swimming pool

I regularly swim in the pool. I swim usually below 20 minutes per km (ie 3 km/h) there. If you swim faster, I probably will not learn you much. If you swim slower, we can work together on the technique. Most common swimmers swim at about half the pace of me. However, it is not always about speed. Even good swimmers can devote themselves to various swimming techniques, which are often neglected and expand swimming skills in this way. I am willing to pass on my experience, which I have.
